MAYOR of London Boris Johnson is due to visit the borough later this month to discuss youth violence.
Residents are being asked to come to the Epicentre, 41 West Street, in Leytonstone, on Monday, January 24, to share their views and ideas about how to tackle the problem.
This Community Conversations Programme is the second in a series of events in areas of London that suffer from high levels of youth violence.
The first one was last December in Croydon.
Waltham Forest saw an upsurge in youth related violence in the summer, including a number of violent gang-related incidents in Leytonstone.
The Community Conversations Programme will run from 6.30pm-8.30pm, and registration will start at 5.30pm.
The tickets are free but places are limited.
