The 14-year-old stab victim who received life- saving treatment from a nurse who found him collapsed in the street has been discharged from hospital.
The teenager is believed to have been the victim of an attempted robbery before being attacked by a gang in Church Road, Leyton, on January 9.
He managed to run into the Leyton Grange estate, where he collapsed yards from Diana Shelley’s front door.
She applied pressure to a wound in the side of his body until the ambulance arrived.
Witnesses say there were up to 15 gang members and police believe they were of Somalian origin.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 020 3276 0955, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
