HARRY Redknapp will be the guest of honour at a fundraiser for the fight against one of the most deadly forms of cancer.
The Spurs manager will be at Woolston Manor Country Club, in Abridge Road, Chigwell, for a special breakfast event in aid of Development of Pancreatic Cancer Research (DCPR).
Pancreatic cancer affects about 7,000 people in the UK each year, and a staggering 97 per cent of people diagnosed with the disease die within five years.
Mr Redknapp is a patron of the charity, which raises awareness of the cancer so that the survival rate – which was the same in 2010 as it was in 1970 – can be improved in the future.
The event will run from 8-10am on Thursday, March 31, and tickets cost £55 including a full English breakfast.
To book, contact Carly Hand at DCPR on 01708 776 055 or 07795 373 813, or email carly@dcpr.org.uk.
