A body was discovered in a basement flat
A 26-YEAR-OLD is still being questioned over the death of a man whose body was discovered in a flat.
The man was arrested in Devon hours after police found the body in a basement flat in Wallwood Road, Leytonstone, at 4.15 on Wednesday.
The death is still being treated as unexplained and police have refused to reveal what the arrested man is being held on suspicion of.
He has been transferred to a London police station.
The dead man is yet to be formally identified and the results of a post mortem are due today.
Neighbours, who did not want to be named, expressed surprise at the death, saying it was a quiet road.
