A 36-YEAR-OLD man is undergoing surgery after he was stabbed in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
He was approached by a group of four men in Hayden Road, Waltham Abbey, just after midnight.
At least one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed him in his chest, stomach and legs.
All four drove off in a dark car.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Whipps Cross hospital in a serious condition.
