JAZZ legend Alan Barnes will be discussing his long career and jamming live at an event in March.
The saxophonist, whose career encompasses band work, composition, and even a stint with the house band on the Parkinson show, will be talking to cornettist Digby Fairweather before playing a live set with Digby and friends on Saturday March 26 at Loughton Methodist Church.
David Nathan, of the National Jazz Archive, said: “With a fund of hilarious tales to tell about his jazz life, it will be a great afternoon for music and laughter!”
The event will be from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and will cost £10.
