THE passionate world of Italian football is the subject of a former Leyton Orient photographer’s latest exhibition.
Tim Reder, who was the club’s photographer for over 10 years, recently spent a season in Italy following Chievo Verona and his pictures will go on show at The George pub in Wanstead tonight (Saturday).
While in Italy Tim also found time for more romantic subjects and trained his lens on the graffiti that covers the walls beneath Juliet’s balcony in Verona.
"The Italians love spectacle," says Tim, pointing to his photographs of big-game 'coreografia' in which stands are enveloped with coloured smoke, a sight that would have many English spectators dialling 999.
Tim's work will be on view at the Art and Artisan Craft Fair at The George, on The High Street in Wanstead, today (January 22) and on February 12.
