THEY might be part of the Hollywood A-list these days, but the Beckhams still have time to visit their old haunts.

David and his wife Victoria were spotted having dinner at Smith's Brasserie in Fyfield Road, Ongar on Saturday night (January 22).

The couple ate at the restaurant, which is a favourite among local celebrities, with another former Spice Girl Emma Bunton and her fiancee Jade Jones, according to The Sun.

The meal could have been a special celebration, as Miss Bunton announced her and Mr Jones' engagement live on ITV1's Dancing On Ice, on which she is a judge, the following evening.

The Beckhams were known to be regular visitors at the fish restaurant when they lived in Sawbridgeworth, during David's time at Manchester United.

He is currently staying in London while he trains with Tottenham Hotspur, in an effort to regain full fitness ahead of the Major League Soccer season, which begins in March.

Earlier that day the Leytonstone-born player was spotted watching Arsenal against Wigan with his son Romeo.
