AN EXTRA office block at a hospital is due to get the go-ahead tonight (Wednesday).
Applicant Andrew van de Water plans to use the two-storey block at Holly House private hospital in Buckhurst Hill High Road for up to two years, while building work takes place on the site.
The parish council has objected to the plans, claiming they would put more pressure on parking in the area and would not fit in with other buildings.
But district council planners have recommended that the plans are approved, adding that the offices would be used for existing staff temporarily.
Councillors on the planning committee will vote on the plans at a meeting tonight.
