FORMER newsreader Peter Sissons is one of the authors who will be coming to the district for a book festival soon.
He will be talking about his book When One Door Closes at St Mary's Church, Loughton, as part of the Essex Book Festival, which starts in March.
Other writers visiting the district will include Betsy Tobin, whose story Crimson China was read on BBC Radio Four's Book at Bedtime, and American author Kim Edwards.
