FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a fire on a bus last night.
Two fire crews from Waltham Abbey and Loughton took about 25 minutes to tackle the blaze which covered about a third of the single-decker bus in Galley Hill, Waltham Abbey, after they were called at 6.25pm yesterday (January 31).
The crew had to wear breathing equipment while fighting the flames.
Passengers were on the bus when the fire broke out but they all escaped safely.
