THERE are major delays on the A406 North Circular this afternoon following a crash in which three people were injured.
It happened close to the Waterworks roundabout on the Walthamstow and Woodford Green border just before 3pm today (Tuesday April 5).
It is believed that two cars smashed into each other.
The London Ambulance Service said it treated a 28-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a small boy at the scene.
They were all rushed to hospital suffering from back pain, but their injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
One of the trio had to be cut from a car by fire-fighters.
Emergency services are on the scene and part of the carriageway is closed.
Waltham Forest Police are warning commuters to expect delays in the area during the evening rush hour as a result.
A police spokeswoman said: "Two lanes are closed to traffic at the moment.
"The vehicles will be removed as soon as possible to relieve congestion in the area."
