A BUSINESSMAN who has admitted breaching United Nations’ sanctions and trading with Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq is due to be sentenced next week.
Last month, Mark Jessop, of Bury Road, Chingford, pleaded guilty to nine charges of making illegal payments relating to medical contracts between 2000 and 2003.
His sentencing will take place at Southwark Crown Court on Monday April 11, when more details of the case will be revealed.
His company, JJ Bureau Ltd, in Station Road, Chingford, broke sanctions imposed following Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
