Staff and customers at a pub pulled together to raise £1000 for charity.
The Spotted Cow in Waltham Abbey held a series of raffles and competitions to raise much-needed funds for the St Clare’s Hospice in Harlow as part of the Hospice Pub Challenge campaign.
Last week they were able to present the respite care centre with a cheque for £1,000.
Giles Wright, Communications Manager for the Hospice said: “The funds raised are so appreciated and put towards the very best in patient care. Our sincere thanks to all the staff and customers at The Spotted Cow for their generosity and for thinking of us”.
