REDDERS is right – it will take a “miracle” to knock Real off their perch tonight at the Lane.

Harry Redknapp gave it the big 'uns in a press conference earlier today, hoping to whip us h is charges into a frothy-mouthed, goal-scoring, clean sheet-keeping rage.

We can but hope, as it's obviously not beyond us to pull off a great result against a European giant. We have, after all, done it twice already this season.

Thankfully we found the net again on Saturday following a particularly lengthy dry spell, but if we are proving more fecund in front of goal we have to keep it tight at the back for fear of Jose Mourinho's side adding more goals to their tally.

Crouch is out tonight following his inexplicable lunges last time out, and I genuinely have no idea how our front line will shape up tonight.

Surely we have to go for a really attacking formation. Given that Defoe, Pavs, Lennon, Modric, Bale and Van der Vaart are all in contention – the last time I checked, at least – we've got plenty of options going forward.

Younes Kaboul's possible return to the defence adds to our options as well, which can only be a good thing.

If we don't progress after tonight's match I will just be glad we fans had to opportunity to enjoy such a great run in the biggest club competition of them all.

As I said before the first leg, we've got nothing to lose. As I said after we had our backside thrashed, I'm not that disappointed because just being in the quarter-finals is a bonus.

And as I've said for weeks now, the thing which really concerns me is securing fourth spot in the league and that must surely be the focus now, irrespective of how we are against the men from Madrid this evening.
