IN an evening of desire, love and comedy an opera company is to give a world premiere performance.
Young and upcoming opera singers and actors from Little Operations opera company will be performing at Redbridge Drama Centre in Churchfields, South Woodford, on May 12.
The company, which is made up of performers from throughout London, will be giving the first ever performance of a libretto by award-winning writer Peter Wolff for the Mozart opera The Impressario as well as performing Hand of Bridge by Samuel Barber.
Caitlin Downie of Little Operations said: “We are committed to bringing their work to venues and audiences which have never experienced opera.
“An intimate venue like Redbridge Drama Centre puts you in the heart of the action and these two short operas will take you on the kind of journey only opera can deliver.”
Tickets will cost £8.50 or £5 with concessions. To book a seat contact Redbridge Drama Centre on 020 8504 5451.
