A THIRD man has been charged in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old girl.

Thusa Kamaleswaran, of Tomswood Hill in Hainault, was shot in the chest inside a convenience store in Stockwell, south London on March 29.

Nathaniel Grant, 20, of Camberwell New Road, Camberwell, is accused of trying to kill her and 35-year-old Roshan Selvakumar, who was shot in the face during the attack.

Grant who has been detained in custody will appear at the Old Bailey on 10 June.

He is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with the attack.

Kazeem Kolawole, 18, from Lambeth, and Anthony McCalla, 19, from Streatham, were arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Both have been detained in custody and will also appear at the Old Bailey on 10 June.

Two teenage boys, A 17-year-old and a 14-year-old have been bailed until June.

Another 17-year-old has been bailed until later this month.

Thusha remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital, while Mr Selvakumar who has since left hospital, is still being treated for his injuries.
