A FILM about people killed or injured while at work is being screened tonight.
'Stop killer Bosses', made by relatives of those who have died while at work, is showing at Waltham Forest Sports and Social Club in Walthamstow Town Hall, from 5.30pm.
The screening is being held to promote Workers Memorial Day on April 28, an international event that remembers those killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their work.
The relatives involved in the film have started a campaign group called Families Against Corporate Killers (FACK).
They claim the role of health and safety in the work place is being threatened by the government's cuts agenda and the treatment of staff by employers who flout rules.
The memorial day will be marked at the town hall on April 28, from 12.30pm, where the lives of workers who have died in Waltham Forest will also be remembered.
The film is supported by Waltham Forest Trades Council and UNISON.
