EASTER celebrations are underway a day early for parishioners giving away hot cross buns.
The priest and parishioners of St Andrew’s Church, Woodford Green, will be giving away free hot cross buns outside Gifford’s Bakery, High Road, Woodford Green, today at 11am.
The churchgoers are celebrating the coming of Easter and also the 400 year anniversary of the release of the King James bible.
“It’s going to be great fun,” said Father Steve Clarke. “You can come and get a free pack of buns and if you feel like, pick up a free copy of the bible as well.”
