A WOMAN was inspired by the memory of her mother to appear on a cult cooking show.
Zed Kiazim, 35, a florist from Grove Road in Chingford, will appear on Channel 4's Come Dine With Me next month.
Her mother died three years ago from bone cancer.
She said: “I am sure my mum will be proud of me.
“She had always told me to go for on the show so I just thought, why not.
“When my mum passed away it was a really hard time for all us.
After beating thousands to get on the programme, she spent four evenings in January with the other contestants, judging each other's dinner parties.
The one-hour episode which will be screened on Sunday May 8 at 7pm.
Her three-course meal included a Meze starter with houmous, tstaziki dips, griddled halloumi cheese and spicy sausages, followed by a lamb moussaka main and Angel Hair Filo with nuts and honey for dessert.
