AN evening of music and live entertainment is being held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall next month to mark the Sikh New Year.
The event, at the venue in Forest Road, is on Friday May 13 between 7pm and 11pm.
Entry is for ticket holders only, which are now available at Waltham Forest Direct shops.
The festival of Vaisakhi, also spelled Baisakhi, is one of the most important dates in the Sikh calendar and also commemorates the anniversary of Sikhism as a collective faith.
Earlier this month the holy Nashan Sahib flag was raised outside the building and followed by a procession in Walthamstow to mark the occasion.
