A MUSICAL about two friends during World War Two will be the next production put on by an award-winning theatre pub, it has been announced.
Ye Olde Rose and Crown, in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, will host 'Girlfriends' - written by Howard Goodall, Richard Curtis and John Retallack - between Tuesday June 7 and Friday July 1 this summer.
The pub recently won the award for best pub in east London and scooped six nominations at the 'Off West End' awards for its most recent show Godspell.
Tickets are now at available for £10 if bookings are made before Sunday May 1.
