MUSIC composed to celebrate the Royal Wedding will echo through Epping Forest.

'Crowned and Wedded', composed by Buckhurst Hill musician Lorraine Woods, will be performed by the Woodford Singers in their first ever public performance at Epping Forest Burial Park on Saturday, May 7.

As well as listening to the choir rehearse and perform, visitors to the park will be able to explore the 52-acre bluebell-filled woodland and find out more about the award winning green cemetery.

“Our events programme ranges from concerts to nature walks and special services of remembrance,” explained Park Manager Carmen Daniels.

The performance starts at 2pm and tickets for the concert are free. There will be a collection at the performance for the Lynsey Ivison Trust, a charity that provides holidays for terminally ill children.

Further information is available from Epping Forest Burial Park on 01992 523863.

The Woodford Singers are an all-woman choir set up by well-known local singing teacher Kathleen Savage earlier this year.  Anyone interested in joining should contact Kathleen Savage on 07710 057325.
