A WOMAN carrying four youngsters in her car was reportedly assaulted during an argument with another motorist in Loughton.
At around 2.30pm on Bank Holiday Easter Monday (April 25), she was driving near the Kings Oak pub in Pauls Nursery Road, High Beach, when there was an argument with another driver over parking.
As the conversation became heated, a man driving a silver Volkswagen Golf allegedly assaulted her and then damaged her vehicle by punching her wing mirror.
Essex Police have not revealed further details of the assault.
Police Constable Steve Parish said: "This incident took place on Easter Monday and it was a nice sunny day.
“High Beach was packed with day trippers to the forest and I am sure people must have seen what happened.
“If you witnessed this incident, please could you contact me."
