TWO teenage boys were injured when they were shot in a cul-de-sac close to Walthamstow's Lloyd Park.
It happened in Omnibus Way at around 6.30pm on Saturday (April 30).
Police have only released details today.
The boys, aged 16 and 17, were rushed to hospital but have since been released.
They were with another friend, aged 15, when a gang of three other boys climbed over a wall from the park and fired in their direction.
The suspects then ran off towards Chingford Road before turning left and heading towards Aveling Park Road.
The trio are described as black and aged between 16 and 19.
There have been no arrests.
The Met's Trident unit, which focuses on violent crime in the black community, is investigating.
A police spokeswoman said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact the Trident shootings team on 020 8217 7377.
