A TEENAGER was chased and assaulted after he snatched his mobile phone back from two robbers.
At around 2.45pm on Wednesday (April 27), the 17-year-old boy was walking in Mayville Road, Leytonstone, when two men snatched his mobile phone from him.
He managed to retrieve it during the struggle and ran away towards Melford Road.
But the two supects caught up with him and assaulted him.
They then ran off towards Leytonstone High Road without the phone and left the victim with minor injuries.
The first suspect was a black man, aged between 18 and 19 years old, six foot tall, of slim build, with short black afro hair, clean shaven and wore a blue Nike air max jumper and blue jogging bottoms with grey and red Nike trainers.
The second was short, with a white t-shirt and wore silver chains round his neck and a grey bandana.
