AN ESTIMATED 200 people turned out to enjoy a community fun day on Bank Holiday Monday (May 2).
A bouncy castle, stalls and a performance by the Waltham Forest Pipe Band were among the entertainments at the event at Higham Hill Recreation Ground in Walthamstow.
It was jointly organised by the Walthamstow branch of the Royal British Legion and ward councillors.
Police from the Higham Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) and staff from St John Ambulance also attended.
