RESIDENTS are invited to take part in the borough's fourth annual literature festival.
Crime expert, Linda Stratmann, who has written about many real-life notorious murders in London, Essex and Surrey, will be holding a talk at Walthamstow Library on May 12, from 7pm to 8pm.
The festival will take place in various locations across Waltham Forest between Thursday 12 and Saturday 21 May.
Author Carolyn Clark will speak about the history of east London and her book ‘Shoreditch Tales’ at Hale End Library on May 19, from 7pm to 9pm.
Actors from Leytonstone Playreaders amateur dramatics group will perform the play, 'Broken Glass’ by Arthur Miller at Leytonstone Library on May 16, from 7pm to 9.30pm.
Other events include a session on gardening from celebrity gardener and writer, Martin Cox, at the Vestry House Museum.
