A SCHOOL concert band from Woodford Green, have been wowing crowds on the other side of the English Channel.
The Bancroft’s Swingers from Bancroft’s School gave an exciting series of concerts in Paris, entertaining music lovers in the parks of the French capital before moving on to play a special concert at Disneyland.
The 40-member band aged between 11 and 17 played to large, enthusiastic crowds wherever they went on their July tour.
But they also took time out to visit the sights, including a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
The children were accompanied on the rip by Bancroft’s Director of Music, Roger Bluff, and conductor Debbie Mittel.
Mr Bluff said: “We had a fabulous time on tour.”
