WALTHAM FOREST: Train services disrupted this Sunday
LAST-MINUTE repair works on the Chingford to Liverpool Street overground train route will affect services this Sunday (August 14).
Trains to and from Chingford going through Highams Park and Walthamstow will only run every 30 minutes and terminate at Hackney Downs due to the overhead line maintenance.
Travellers will have to get another train from that station to continue their journey to and from Liverpool Street.
The 06.40am Chingford to Liverpool Street will be also replaced by a bus service.
It is hoped the works will be completed by lunchtime that day, when normal service is expected to resume.
