ENGINES roared and crowds were wowed at a display of classic cars last weekend.
At the Damn Yankees American Car Show at North Weald Airfield families enjoyed a display of a wide range of classic cars from the 1930s to the present.
The event, on Sunday, August 7, marked the 25th anniversary of the Damn Yankees American Car Club, who are based in Woodford Green and showcase their awesome automobiles every year.
Club chairman Gary Hall said: “It is always good to the crowd’s reaction when they pull the throttle on some of the customised vehicles. They have incredibly powerful engines and make this enormous roar.”
