A TEENAGE 'Olympic Ambassador' from Leytonstone has appeared in court accused of looting and attacking a police car during the London riots, according to reports.
Chelsea Ives, 18, is alleged to have stolen from two mobile phone shops and smashed a Met BMW with a traffic cone during disturbances on Sunday night (August 7) in Enfield.
She has denied the charges and was remanded in custody to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court later this month.
According to The Sun newspaper her parents reported her to police after spotting their daughter on TV.
Olympic Ambassadors have the responsibility of helping visitors and other voluntary duties during the Games.
She has also been involved in the Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP), and was pictured in the Guardian in 2009 at one of its events at the Houses of Parliament.
