MUSIC lovers raised hundreds of pounds for a worthy cause at a concert held at a local pub.
The Woodford Stock concert at the Horse and Well pub in Woodford Green, played host to a host of local bands in a fundraiser for the Haven House Children’s Hospice.
Entrance to the event on Saturday (August 13) was free, but all profits from a barbecue and sea food stall went to the charity.
Haven House Community Fundraising Manager, Erica Snow, said: “Volunteers who attended on the day enjoyed the event which raised more than £400 for children and young people who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood.
“We would like to thank the Horse and Wells Pub for organising the event.”
