A LOCAL nursing home held its annual garden party.
Residents were joined by their families and members of staff at the Chestnuts Nursing and Dementia Care Home in Cambridge Park, Wanstead last Saturday (August 13).
Residents enjoyed a raffle and a buffet, while entertainment was provided by the Carousel Theatre Group who put on a play and a sing-along.
Chestnuts staff member Shirley Leach said: “It was a lovely afternoon.
“The sun shone and everyone had a wonderful time.”
