PHOTOGRAPHS and film clips of cultural celebrations from all over the world will be displayed on the 'Big Screen' in Walthamstow Town Square over the next month.
The displays, part of a national BBC project, chronicle the 35-year-career of photojournalist Jeremy Hunter and his experiences travelling across the globe recording cultural events.
A spokeswoman for Mr Hunter said: "His exhibition is called 'Let's Celebrate 365', in recognition of the fact that there is some form of festival happening around the world on any given day, and chronicles, with a filmic eye, scenes of splendour and scale, of the unifying power of belief and of what can be endured in the name of faith."
The images and footage will be shown interspersed with BBC programming on the screen from this week every day up until Friday September 9.
