CHINGFORD: Park among best in the country
RIDGEWAY Park is one of three green spaces in the borough that have been ranked among the best in the country.
The park in The Ridgeway, Chingford, has won its first Green Flag Award.
The award scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the UK and this year 1200 have been given the prize.
Two other parks, Langthorne in Leytonstone and Coronation Gardens in Leyton have retained their Green Flag awards since 2007.
