A LEYTON man has been accused of killing a 43-year-old outside a nightclub in Norwich.
Ion Lacatus, 27, of Kettlebaston Road, has been charged with the manslaughter of Alan Jewitt last Friday (August 12).
Police were called to Prince of Wales Road by Chicago's nightclub at 2.25am following reports of an assault.
Mr Jewitt, of Gertrude Road in Norwich, was rushed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but died from a bleed to the brain.
Mr Lacatus appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Wednesday (August 17).
He did not enter a plea and will return on Friday, October 7, for a case management hearing.
