REDBRIDGE has more than 15 applicants competing for each vacancy, making the borough the fifth toughest place in London to get a job.
The borough has just 506 vacancies advertised through its job centre for 7,655 job seekers aged between 18 and 64, according to figures released by the Office for National Statistics.
Waltham Forest has an average of 25 applicants per job, while Haringey has 28.
The London average is 11 applicants per vacancy.
