A 29-year-old man who was found dead in his van died of natural causes.
Can Ahmet went night fishing at Willowside Lake in Waltham Abbey, on May 13, but when he did not return the next day his girlfriend raised the alarm.
He was found later that day by his father, Cahit Ahmet and the emergency services, who had to force open the doors of the van.
A post mortem was inconclusive and four weeks after his death, further tests were still being carried out to establish the cause of death.
The 57-year-old from Buxton Road in Chingford said at the time his son “would be missed by many people”.
A service at the Suleymaniye Mosque in Kingsland Road, Dalston, on June 10 was attended by more than 250 people.
The ruling today at Chelmsford Crown Court was made by Mrs Caroline Beasley-Murray.
