THREE men have been arrested over the murder of a 17-year-old boy.
Kelvin Chibueze was stabbed at around 4am on August 15 in High Road, Ilford after 15 to 20 people in two groups spilled out of a party in a house off High Road during an argument, then into a car park next to Lidl and Fitness First where he was stabbed.
A 30-year-old man (known as B) was arrested on August 22 and a 19-year-old (A) and another 30-year-old (C) arrested yesterday, all on suspicion of murder after Chibueze died in Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, at 1pm on August 15.
Man A remains in custody after being previously arrested on August 15 and bailed the same day. Man B has been bailed to return at a date in early September, while man C has been bailed to return in late September.
Det Chief Inspector John Macdonald said: “I would urge everybody who was at the party to contact us so that we can eliminate them from our enquiries. Even if they didn’t see anything, it is still important for them to get in touch.”
