TWO men have been jailed after police found over £5,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and cannabis at a house in Leytonstone.

Mohammed Mohammed, 19, of Cathall Road, Leytonstone was jailed for 32 months while Motin Jaman, 18, of Kingswood Road, Leytonstone, was handed a 16-onth sentence – both for possession with intent to supply the drugs.

In January, police searched the home of Victoria Adams, 31, in High Road, Leytonstone, based on intelligence they had received.

They found a quantity of cocaine, heroin, cannabis as well as drug paraphernalia.

Mohammed, Jaman and Adams were arrested, along with a 16-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Mahammed and Jaman were sentenced on Wednesday, August 17.

In addition, Adams was sentenced to four months, suspended for 18 months.

The teenager will be sentenced in October for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Police Constable Alex McGarrigle, from Waltham Forest police Crime Squad, said: “This was a proactive operation which has removed a number of drug dealers and a quantity of class A and B drugs from the streets of Waltham Forest.

“Drug dealing is one of our community’s main concerns and we intend to continue our efforts and target suspected drug dealers, sending out a clear message that they will be caught and brought to justice."
