LOUGHTON Film Society will be showing Oranges and Sunshine on September 6.
Based on a true life story, the film stars Emily Watson as social worker Margaret Humphreys who exposed the plight of children in care sent to Australia in the 1950s and ‘60s.
The film will be screened in the Society’s cafe style cinema in Station Road, Loughton, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 for members and £7 for non-members.
