REDBRIDGE: Allotment holders open their gates
THERE will be a chance to get advice on different aspects of gardening and see allotments at a garden festival next Sunday (September 4).
The Seven Kings and Goodmayes Allotment Society will be running the festival from 1pm to 5pm at the Goodmayes Lane allotments, behind Poole’s Court flats in Ilford.
Attractions include advice on ‘self-sufficient’ gardening and been keeping, a plant sale and face painting for children.
Entry costs 50p for adults and children go free.
