THREE Waltham Forest men have been charged with drug offences following a series of anti-gang raids earlier this month.
Hackney Police spearheaded 'Operation Chalais' with simultaneous dawn raids in Hackney, Enfield and Waltham Forest on Wednesday August 3.
A total of 25 people are to face the courts charged with 217 offences following the operation.
Among them are Lesego Boloang, aged 20, of Harold Road in Leytonstone, Gavin Tuitt, 27, of Bellis Court in Keats Road, Leyton, and Lionel Nash, 29, of Guildford Road in Walthamstow.
They are all accused of various counts of conspiracy to supply and being involved in dealing class A drugs.
Boloang is also charged with conspiracy to supply firearms.
They will appear next at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday October 6.
