A TALK on the fascinating history of an early Renaissance house will be held to raise money for church repairs.
Anne Padfield will deliver the talk entitled ‘The People of Hill Hall Through the Ages’, at St Michael’s Church in Theydon Mount this Saturday (September 10).
Hill Hall in Theydon Mount, is a Grade 1 listed building, and has a long and interesting history. The illustrated talk will focus on some of the characters who have lived there down the years.
The event starts at 7.30pm, but drinks and canapés will be served from 7pm, and visitors will receive a free glass of wine.
Tickets are £10 with all proceeds going towards the church.
