HELP for local people seeking employment will be on offer at a jobs and training event in the town hall.
The seventh annual Redbridge Jobs and Training Fair takes place on September 15, and is open to everyone in the borough seeking work.
Employers including the London Fire Brigade, London City Airport and Olympic organisers LOCOG, will all be attending. Jobcentre Plus will also be promoting vacancies with major high street retailers.
Visitors will have the chance to attend workshops on CV and interviewing techniques and find out about further education, training and volunteering opportunities.
There will also be an opportunity to sign up to ‘Work Redbridge’ - a Council led project that gives residents and businesses access to information about job vacancies, careers advice and business support.
The event runs from 10am until 4pm at Redbridge Town Hall in Ilford.
