DETAILS of a proposed 95-home development on the site of a former town hall have been unveiled.
Fairview New Homes hopes to develop the site of the former Chingford Municipal Offices in The Ridgeway with a mixture of houses and flats in blocks up to four storeys high.
Initial designs were put on show for the first time on Saturday as part of a public consultation and are now available online.
A total of 114 car park spaces and 95 cycle spaces will be provided with the development.
The listed former town hall would be retained and converted into a GP or dentist surgery.
Fairview has invited people to register their comments by 5.30pm on Monday, April 2, before the proposal is reviewed and formally submitted for approval.
