THREE men have been arrested after a woman was threatened with a knife in her home and robbed of £20,000 worth of jewellery.
A man broke into the woman’s home in Orchard Close, Sheering, and threatened her before the jewellery, which included a Rolex watch and diamond rings, was taken.
The woman’s car was also stolen and driven a short distance before being abandoned. The burglar is believed to have been driven away in another vehicle.
Although a 28-year-old and a 34-year-old from Roydon and a 22-year-old from Sheering were arrested after the incident on Thursday (May 3), police still want to hear from witnesses.
Anyone with information on the burglary can call Detective Constable Gav Morris at Harlow police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
