A WOMAN scared off thieves who tried to steal her car on Friday.
The woman, in her 20s, screamed for help when three men wrested her car keys from her and tried to get in and drive away in the early hours of Friday, May 11.
The victim had just parked her white Mini convertible in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green, when the three men approached her at about 2.35am.
But her cries for help alarmed the would-be car jackers, who ran off with her car keys towards Turpins Lane, where they got into a dark car and drove off.
The three criminals are all described as black and in their 20s.
The first man was six foot tall, of slim build with dreadlocks, wearing a burgundy fleece jumper and jeans and a dark red baseball cap.
The second wore Nike trainers, but that was all the victim could remember.
The third was well built and had a shaved head, wearing a black zipper jacket and dark indigo jeans.
Police do not have an exact age for the victim yet.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Harlow target offender team on 101 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
