A MAN was hurt in a shooting carried out by suspected gang members.
The victim, aged in his early 20s, was repeatedly hit in the leg and a number of cars peppered with bullets in Kings Close, Leyton, on Saturday at 2.40am.
The man is described as being in a stable condition.
Three or four masked men, who were seen running towards Beaumont Road after the shooting, are being treated as prime suspects in the case.
A sub-division of the Met's Trident unit which deals with gang-related violence is investigating.
